Tools and skills
The MCP server's tool groups, and the skills (playbooks) the AI loads with get_skill.
The server has 182 tools. You do not need to remember their names: say what needs doing and the AI picks them. The list below shows what the AI can do, and which tools only read and which write.
- read: changes nothing.
- write: changes the website (a draft, a record, a setting) in a way the next write can change back.
- delete / publish: deletes, publishes, restores — what visitors see at once, or what cannot be brought back. See Safety.
Some tools only show on a website that sells (products, discounts, shipping, payments).
Skills
A skill is a ready-made playbook for a big job. When a client connects, the server
sends the list of skills with it; before a matching job the AI loads the skill with
get_skill (or reads the resource skill://<name>), and list_skills lists them
all. You can also ask outright: "read the shop-backups skill, then back the website
up".
